The questions above are all signs of a strained relationship. When people hear relationship, they typically think of a marriage. However, it can be a spouse, a significant other, co-worker, friend, daughter, confidant, mentor, or any sort of human interaction. We have more relationships than we realize as humans. A strained relationship is incredibly common in our society. Many people face them. Perhaps most unfairly, these relationships are likely to strain more unless people put in effort to improve them.
It is important to clarify that these retreats well if you are able to come with or without your partner in the strained relationship–we’re here to help.
Many people who are struggling with strained relationships turn to therapy and start an exhaustive process of breaking their relationship in excruciating detail only to rebuild it.
Other Approaches to Rebuilding Healthy Relationships
There is no doubting that many couples in our society face a strained relationship every day. Stressed-out partners are not effective at work which causes them to work harder and later. This then puts strain on their home life and their commitment to their family. Finally, this stress puts stress on their relationships with their extended family and their friendships. It is not always the work setting that is the epicenter of people’s stresses.
Unfortunately, we will ALWAYS have stress in our relationships to some degree. Living Harbor created a Retreat Series to help people identify, minimize, and manage the strains on these relationships. Unlike therapy, which requires a complete overhaul of you as an individual, “Building Healthy Relationships” helps people fine-tune their self-awareness to manage their life more effectively.

We understand the many demands on your time. Most people have jobs, partners, children, parents, and a network of friends and hobbies that do not leave us with a ton of time to rekindle strained relationships. We get it. That’s why we have created this series to help you “Build Healthy Relationships” in a comfortable amount of time without losing traction on your job, your relationships with your friends and families, and allow you to live your life to the fullest. We firmly believe that a few moments to work on a relationship in a safe and fun environment will get your relationship back to where it once was.
