Do you struggle to say no to your friends and family’s requests?
Is it hard for you to say no to sales people?
Have you ever offered to help a friend, but didn’t really want to?
We are pleased to announce our agenda for our first Living Harbor Retreat Series: Building a Healthy Serving & Loving Heart: Saying No? No Problem!
Find a Moment to Recharge your Batteries
The agenda highlights how we are going to help those caregivers find a moment for themselves to recharge their own batteries. The Living Harbor Retreat Series teaches clients to set healthy boundaries and to “say No”. We maintain that “saying No” in a healthy and respectful way enables us to be better caregivers, especially in the long run.
We have seen many professional caregivers, like nurses, priests, customer service, and therapists do not get enough time and space to properly decompress from caring for others. Similarly, many parents and personal caregivers face the same stressors in their home life.
If you are a caregiver at home or in your job, it may be time to consider polishing your “Saying No” skills and to learn the benefits of setting healthy boundaries. Our patients find a sense of joy, rejuvenation, liberation, peace, and joy by deploying these techniques.
The next retreat is February 18, 2017 in Bellevue, WA. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.
